Derek Studios is located in the Berkshires at 850 Main Street in Dalton Massachusetts. Our services include album and demo production, songs and jingles for radio and television, instructional and industrial audio programs and audio for video.
We have "in house" song and jingle writers as well as top notch musicians for your projects. Our approach to recording and production is a little old school and a little more new tech, software and implementation. We are all musicians and grew from tape and analog to computer based production.
The soul of music translates in many ways as any art form does. There is no one method of recording that is always the absolute best. This is true for both the music and the customer. We love our craft and the relationships that we have developed. Our success has been the result of an artistic approach and flexability in a technical realm. Computers, interfaces, multitrack tape recorders, recording consoles, microphones preamps and outboard gear are not the whole story.
